New board members for Vintners & Growers Alliance

The Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance (SVVGA) has installed four new board members: Philip Coturri of Enterprise Vineyards; Mike Pucci of Sangiacomo Vineyards; Michael Crain of Blakeslee & Crain Vineyard Advisors & Brokers; and Mark Stornetta of Alain Pinel Realtors.
“With the new Board in place for 2010 we will do great things for the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers,” said Board President Michael Muscardini. “This year our focus is leadership, both in our local community and beyond.”
Outgoing members, including Carlo Cavallo of Meritage Restaurant & Oyster Bar, Susan
Reber of Mission Hills Mortgage, Marjorie MacLeod of Indian Springs Ranch and
MacLeod Family Winery, and Vickie Mulas of Mulas Family Vineyards and Alta Vista
Vineyards.
“They have collectively given over 13 years of service,” said Grant Raeside, SCCGA executive director. “We are grateful for the integral roles that Carlo, Susan,
Marjorie, and Vickie played in advancing the charter of our organization, the image of
Sonoma Valley Grapes and Wines, and the charitable efforts of our foundation.”
The SVVGA is a non-profit trade organization serving over 500 vintners, growers and associates. Its mission is to promote awareness of Sonoma Valley’s grapes, wine, terroir and history as the birthplace of the California wine industry. It has raised over $6,000,000 for local Sonoma Valley charities through Sonoma Valley Wine Country Weekend.
