Silver anniversary for financial planner

Posted on February 4, 2010 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Lillian Meyers, president of Sonoma’s Meyers’ Financial, is celebrating 25 years in business.
Meyers, who is the only female in Sonoma Valley that is a certified financial planner, attributes her success to experience and building personal relationships. Helping women in transition protect their assets has become one of Meyers’ specialties in recent years.
“I really care about my clients,” Meyers said. “I have their best interests at heart and operate with the values of honesty and integrity.”
In 2008, in response to a growing need, she became the only certified divorce financial analyst in Sonoma Valley.
“Similar to how women prefer women doctors, women trust discussing their personal finances with another woman,” Meyers said. “Women who are my clients are going through a life change, which could be business or career related, as well as a change in marital status or another event that impacts financial status.”
The local marketplace for financial services has diversified over the years, she said, as more people moved into Sonoma Valley, bringing more variety of needs.
Meyers is also a registered investment adviser, enrolled agent and licensed insurance agent. She states her “mission is to provide centered holistic financial planning services to affluent individuals through collaborative and innovation.”
Meyers also is active in community service. She is on the boards of the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley and chairs its foundation committee. She is a past chair of the Sonoma Valley Vintage Festival.
Her office is located in the Atrium building, 670 West Napa St. Suite C. For more information, call 935.1124 or visit meyersfinancial.com.
