Fatal crash on Hwy 121

Two cars collided and overturned on Highway 121 Sunday afternoon near Ramal Road, killing two people and injuring one.

The accident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. The California Highway Patrol reported that a 1990 Toyota Corolla drifted off the roadway and partially onto the dirt shoulder, then swung back, crossed the double yellow line and struck the side of a 2009 Ford F-250 traveling the other diection.

The impact overturned both vehicles, which came to rest on their side. The occupants of the Toyota, driver Bo Cho, 67, and passenger Byong Cho, both of Napa, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP said the driver and sole occupant of the truck, Kevin Nelson, 39, of Windsor, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

The highway was closed for about two-and-a-half hours after the crash.
