Hundreds of lovers of flowers—and lovers of Wine Country in general—gathered at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds July 25 for the annual Sonoma County Fair Flower Show Preview Gala, a preview of the largest themed flower show in the United States. This year’s show, which salutes the wine industry of Sonoma County, includes 12 stunning professional gardens depicting major wine appellations.

In addition to the 12 professional exhibitors and 11 adult amateur gardens, there are 16 gardens created by junior exhibitors. Award for the Best Junior garden by a Group went to Green Valley 4-H Club for “Heard It Through the Grapevine” and Best Junior Garden by an Individual was won by Lisa and Alexandra Kasper for their “Muscat Meadow.”
