Larson Family Winery claimed first prize in last year’s Gingerbread Winery Contest and is vying for another big win this year with an imprerssive creation from Rose Fanucchi of Sweet Treats. Complete with 13 pounds of gingerbread and nine pounds of royal icing, the Larson Winery replica measures 44 inches tall and features signature wine bottles and grapes formed with a “break away” sugar recipe and custom molds. The fifth annual Gingerbread Winery contest runs through December 31 and locals and tourists alike are encouraged to visit the 10 participating tasting rooms to vote for their favorite design.
