New board members for Boys & Girls Club

Posted on December 20, 2010 by Sonoma Valley Sun

The 12-member board of directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley recently gained two new members; Dr. Lora Eichner and Kevin Jaggie.

Eichner has been serving on the club’s programs committee and, as a pediatrician, has a special interest in growing the club’s health, nutrition and fitness programs.

“I feel strongly the Boys & Girls Club plays an important role in lives of the children of this community to help keep them healthy and fit,” says Eichner. She began her career as a pediatrician at Palo Alto Medical Clinic and served as Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at Stanford University. She and her husband Frank moved to Sonoma to raise their three young children and thankfully got involved with the Boys & Girls Club. In addition to her volunteer work at the Boys & Girls Club, she also volunteers at the Jewish Community Free Clinic in Rohnert Park.

Jaggie is a Sonoma native and a Boys & Girls Club alumnus. Kevin has worked for 16 years in the investment management industry starting at Merrill Lynch and recently moving to Wells Fargo Advisors as Associate Vice President of Investments. Having served on the Boys & Girls Club board for many years, Jaggie also served a term as board president. Most recently, he served as board president for the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, and is currently a part of the human resources and Strategic Planning Committees at the Boys & Girls Club. Kevin has two children ages 11 and nine and lives in Sonoma with his wife, Sanette.
