A river runs under it

The creek flow under Second St. East at Napa St. is safely within its banks as rains begin to fall on New Years Day.
After a few cold but dry days, showers returned to the Valley about 1 p.m. The forecast is for heavier rains through tonight, with winds of 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Rains should continue through Sunday and taper off overnight for a partly sunny Monday.
