St. Francis Solano School Roaring Twenties Gala

Posted on February 7, 2011 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Don your glad rags and your dancing shoes and join the parents of St. Francis Solano School for our 19th Annual fundraiser auction on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Cline Cellars beginning at 5:00pm. Several hundred people are expected to join in the “Roaring Twenties” themed event, which benefits the students of St. Francis.
The evening begins with a champagne reception sponsored by Freixenet. The twenties theme will be pervasive during the evening with a martini and cigar bar, followed by a brief live auction. New this year is a “spend-easy” secondary silent auction of unique experiences and packages which will be open throughout the evening.
This year, Mamma Tanino’s Ristorante will be catering a seated dinner at the event. Guests will have a choice between Osso Bucco di Maiale — Braised Pork Osso Bucco with Homemade Pappardelle and Seasonal Vegetables or Stuffed Raviolo — Hand Made Pasta Stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta, with a White Wine Parmesan Cheese Sauce.
Fine wines are being graciously provided by some of the valley’s favorite wineries, and live music by JD & Co. will keep the party hopping until past 11. The event is open to the community. Tickets may be purchased individually for $100 each, or purchase a table for $1000 or a VIP table for $1400. Tickets go on sale on Monday, February 7 on the school’s website at http://www.saintfrancissolano.org. If you would like to donate to this event, please contact Joanne at the school at (707) 996-4994.
