The Vintage House Art Club will have their annual Art Show at the Sonoma Library, Delong Room, for the month of April starting Friday, April 1. All mediums will be represented as member artists paint in everything from acrylics, oils, pastels and watercolors to name a few. This is the seventh straight year for the show.

The Art Club Painting Studio is made up of senior artists in the Sonoma Valley who enjoy the camaraderie of painting with fellow artists. No instruction is given rather, the members critique each other. The Art Club meets at the Vintage House every Monday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the group welcomes new members.

Artist Bill Bertetta said, “I think that every one of us has grown artistically since joining the group. We critique each other and that has helped all of us to become better painters.”

“We have a couple of painters that are around 90 years old. Our Art Club is a wonderful way to make new, enduring friendships with other artists. Being seniors, time passes on, and we have lost some key original members of our Art Club so we are always looking for new painters,” said artist Pat Patterson.
