The fifth grade class at Dunbar School is the acting posse for “Wrongful Doings at Woeful Ranch… or I Hate Dat Wascal!” The 19th annual melodrama runs Memorial Day weekend at the school’s outdoor Haver stage. A full-length production with western costumes, sets, and sound effects (including “cheers” and “boos” from the audience), the show is directed by Kate Kennedy. This year’s show is one of four melodramas that Squire Fridell wrote or adapted when his daughter was at Dunbar. The show runs plays May 27, 28 & 29 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, with a “family pack” (2 adults and 2 children) available for $25. All proceeds go to support the Dunbar Melodrama Project. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
