Where to find the Friday market

Temporarily displaced by the repaving of its Arnold Field parking lot location, the Friday Farmers Market will relocate for three weeks to the parking lot north of Teeter baseball field on First Street East.

The market will operate in the new space on July 8, 15 and 22. Hours remain 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

It had been announced previously that the temporary location would be adjacent to Sebastiani Winery. That space proved to be too small to for the expected 30-plus farmers, vendors and artisans, said market board member Ann Hollister.

Management did not want anyone to be excluded from the market, she said, so it chose to take the offer of the parking lot at the end of First Street East.

“This way, all vendors can be accommodated and our customers will be able to purchase the produce and everything else they have come to enjoy.”
