Viva Mexico

Posted on September 21, 2011 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Adele Harrison Middle School played host last Friday to a merry contingent of dancers and musicians in honor of Mexican Independence day. The various groups of entertainers performed for a large and appreciative audience before everyone retired to the school quad for a feast consisting of pozole, flautas, tinga, fruit salad, fresh tacos, Mexican drinks, as well as desserts such as ice cream popsicles, shaved ice, and buñuelos. So successful was the evening that Principal Karla Conroy plans on making it an annual event, held during the day to include all Adele students.
