Greeting customers at Bank of Marin’s new Sonoma location Monday were, from left, Matthew Johnson, Carol York, Claudia Levindofske, Megan Van-Hoorebeke, Bay Jones and Manager Marck Zuehlsdorff. Located at 136 W. Napa Street, the 17th Bank of Marin branch is now open to business and personal-banking customers Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Next week (except for Monday’s Columbus Day holiday) the bank will host a daily open house with free giveaways. The official ribbon cutting with city and Chamber of Commerce officials will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 5 p.m. “We greatly appreciate the positive response we have already received from the town of Sonoma,” said Russell A. Colombo, bank president and CEO. “We believe our relationship style of community-based banking is a good fit.” Celebrating its 21st this year, Bank of Marin has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in the Bay Area” and one of the “Top Corporate Philanthropists” by the San Francisco Business Times.
