Save a turkey – buy a lobster!

Soroptimist International Sonoma Valley is now selling live Maine lobsters. The tasty crustaceans are $25 and must be pre-ordered by Nov. 16 for pick-up on Nov. 19.

The lobsters, live or cooked, your choice, arrive in San Francisco from Maine on Saturday morning, Nov. 19 and will available for pick up at the Chamber office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the sales are used to support Soroptimist local projects, including the Youth Service Award, youth activities such as Road to Reality for high school seniors, Movin’ On for middle school graduates, Newspapers in Education in grade schools, the Teen Parent program, The Valley of the Moon Teen Center, Operation Youth, Grad Night, Easter Egg Hunt and Hot Chocolate with Santa in the Plaza. Support also goes to health care and social well-being organizations and activities Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation, Relay for Life, Sonoma Overnight Shelter.
