MacArthur Place has been recognized as one of the top hotels in the US in the Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice “Best in the World” List for 2011.

The 64-room inn and spa ranked #105 on the “Top 200 Hotels in the US” list.

The annual award is based on a survey taken by more than 28,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers rating cities, hotels, islands, resorts, cruises and airlines they have visited in the past year.

“With nearly 50,000 hotels in the US, to be selected as one of the Top 200 is an amazing honor,” said MacArthur Place General Manager Bill Blum. “I have to give a tremendous amount of credit to our staff. They provide our guests with memorable experiences every day by offering a truly high level of personalized service.”

MacArthur Place was one of three Sonoma Valley hotels recognized by the survey. The Renaissance Lodge at Sonoma ranked #119 as one of the “Top 150 Mainland US Resorts” and the Kenwood Inn ranked #5 as one of the “Top 30 Small Resorts” in the US.
