Jess Petty
The jazz vocalist brings his smooth pipes (he also plays trumpet and fluglehorn) to the Left Bank-ish Centre du Vin lounge. 7 p.m. Ledson Hotel. 996.9779.

Wayne De La Cruz
A staple of the Northern California jazz scene and beyond, the keyboard player – an ace at the Hammond organ – is joined by John Hoy on guitar & Kent Bryson on drums.

The Tonewoods

Steve Lucky and Carmen Getit
The duo, he on piano, she on guitar and vocals, are the boogie-woogie backbone of the band the Rhumba Bums. Expect jumping tunes, hot licks and some humorous interplay. Presented by the Sonoma Valley Jazz Society. 7 p.m. Plaza Bistro. 996.4466.

Deirdre Egan and Devra Wolf

The Whutknotts
After 20 years on regional music scene, Doug Adamz (guitar, harmonica and fiddle), Don Rich (guitar) and Larry Carlin (bass) are a well-oiled machine of rock, bluegrass and County country. 8 p.m. Murphy’s Irish Pub, 935-0660.

Roem Baur
The 19-year-old Texan found his voice in church and high school choirs, studied opera and toured South America as a music actor. In 2011, he locked himself in a 100 year-old church sanctuary with a grand piano, a pawnshop guitar and a string quartet. Nine nights later he emerged with “The Thief,” an album that debuted at the South by Southwest music festival to much acclaim. 9 p.m. Hopmonk Tavern. 935-9100.
