Construction is well ahead of schedule at The Sonoma Valley Regional Library, which will reopen in its refurbished quarters at 755 West Napa Street on March 20. “We are thrilled the remodeling project has gone so well and are very excited to be moving back in,” said Library Commissioner Mary Evelyn Arnold. The $2.3 million project added new heating and air systems, along with energy-efficient upgrades. Along with aesthetic improvements, the 30-year-old building will now comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and seismic requirements. The temporary library in Burlingame Hall at the First Congregational Church will close on March 10.
