No more laughter, bizarre stories or twisted PowerPoint slides… what will the world be like after Maxime Simone departs for the big gig in the sky? Take it from the expert. In his one-man show “Maxime Simonet – Celebrating a Lifetime of Achievement,” Sunday, June 10, at the Sebastiani Theatre, the Sonoma actor combines stand-up comedy and live fictional documentary to give himself an elaborate, multi-media “eulogy.”

In keeping with the theme, Simonet agreed to an interview with The Sun — as long as it was with himself. So, Max sat down with Max on the floor of a McDonald’s restroom to discuss the upcoming show.

How are you? I’m pretty good. Been better, had a tummy ache this morning. Ate some greasy pub grub last night, which was great when it was going in, but not so great when it was being digested. You know how it is, I’m sure.

What is this new one-man show about? Well, it’s set in this alternate universe wherein I am known as the most famous and successful actor of all time, and I’ve recently died. The show is thus a memorial of my life and times. Some people may ask, “aren’t you already the most famous and successful actor of all time in this universe?” And they would be right. I am.

So, the show is going to be awesome? Of course. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Boxers of briefs? Neither. Right, ladies?

If you had to sell one body part, other than a kidney, to get out debt, which would it be and why? Probably my scalp, it’s been really flakey lately.
