“Between the two of us, we have 60 years in the optical business,” said co-owner Rita Barrera or herself and her partner Kaylyn Hyman.  “We found that people were leaving town for glasses and shopping either in Marin or even San Francisco.  We realized a shop specializing in high end frames would be a good fit for Sonoma.”

The pair of independent opticians can fill any prescription as well as handle repairs.  They also specialize in designer fittings for weddings and other special events.  “Say a wedding party wants fun custom sunglasses for the big day.  We can easily accommodate that need,” said Hyman.

One thing the partners agree on – top notch customer service.  “Rika Optiques focuses on incredible optics and great fashion all delivered with an immeasurable dedication to customer service,” said Barrera.
