Find Waldo in Sonoma
Come July, popular book character Waldo will be hiding throughout businesses in Sonoma and kids of all ages are being given the opportunity to find him.
Local businesses joining in the fun include:

- Fleurtique
Each participating player will be given a “Find Waldo in Sonoma” search list to help them hunt down the six-inch-tall jauntily striped fellow. A player may start at any business on the list and look for Waldo in any public part of the establishment.
When you spot Waldo in one of these local businesses, collect a card and check the box on your search list. When you’ve collected eight different cards, bring them into Readers’ Books to claim a Waldo button (for the first Waldo spotters).
For those lucky sleuths who collect 16 of the possible 20 cards, turn your cards into Readers’ Book to get a Waldo button and be entered into a drawing for a six-book deluxe set of Waldo books and other great prizes.
Team play is acceptable but prizes, other than buttons, are single. The deadline for finding Waldo is July 30. On July 31, Readers’ Book will hold a Waldo party where everyone can take part in the prize drawing.
