Pooch-a-palooza

The definitive dog day of summer? Saturday, July 28, as Pet’s Lifeline’s Bark in the Park and Pooch Promenade comes to downtown Sonoma.
Activities include a 9.a.m dog parade from Depot Park to City Hall, followed by contests for pets and their people (please, no drooling on celebrity judge Ben Flajnik), and, back at the park, music, food and family fun until 5 p.m. Dogs must be registered to participate in the parade ($25): in advance at 996.4577 x03 or Petslifeline.org, or day of, starting at 7 a.m. at Depot Park parking lot.
