Carol and Sam Morphy’s Red Grape restaurant, now in its 10th year on First St. W. off the Plaza, has been named the Business of the Year by the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber CEO Jennifer Yankovich called “the local dining hotspot” an “exemplary employer and top tax revenue generator to the City of Sonoma.” This year marks the 10th anniversary for The Red Grape, an exemplary employer and top tax revenue generator to the City of Sonoma.”

“The ‘family of Red Grape employees are a testament to its success and reputation as a favorite restaurant for everything from business lunches to special occasions,” Yankovich said.

The Chamber will recognize the Red Grape owners at the annual Business of the Year luncheon on Friday October 12, at Sonoma Golf Club. The luncheon is open to community members, friends and clients. For reservations, contact 996-1033. Cost to attend is $50 and reservations are required.
