Sonoma Valley High School student Ally Cogbill was the big winner in Bank of Marin’s annual photography contest. Her “Cloud Cover, Arnold Drive” (shown) was selected for the bank’s annual calendar, and also as the bank’s holiday card.

A second photo by Cogbill was chosen for inside the calendar.

This marks the third year in a row that Bank of Marin has worked with photography teachers and students at North Bay high schools to select images for the calendar. Nearly 100 images were submitted. Bank of Marin donates $100 to each participating high school for the purchase of photography supplies and equipment. Sonoma Valley High will get an additional $100 because Cogbill’s work landed on the cover.

The 2013 community calendars will be available for free at all Bank of Marin branches and via the Bank of Marin website.
