A purse snatcher at Safeway, after struggling with the victim and being tackled to the ground by a good Samaritan shopper and again by a store employee, managed to escape into the night at about 8:30 on April 20.

The grabber dropped the victim’s wallet and his own black “A’s” hat in the tussle.

Deputies retrieved video and secured digital photographs of the perp: a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, mid to late 20`s, with scraggly facial hair, navy blue sweat shirt, blue jeans, and Van`s type black shoes. Seen him? Call 996-3601.
