Grad Night celebration seeks community support

Posted on April 25, 2013 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Sonoma Valley High School’s Grad Night 2013 brings Sonoma graduates together for a drug and alcohol-free celebration. Grad Night is solely funded by a combination of ticket sales and community support.  So it relies on donations — of time or money – to make it happen.

More than “just a party,” said committee member Lou Braun, Grad Night is a commitment by parents, school, and the community to conduct a great, once in a lifetime event for graduates as they celebrate with old friends, perhaps for the last time.

It is not too late to help out. Volunteers are needed for clean up on Saturday, June 1.  If you can pitch in for a few hours, please text or call Tracy Krikorian at 320.7947.

For those who wish to help with a direct donation, send a check payable to “Sonoma Valley Grad Night” to Sonoma Valley High School, 20000 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 95476.  Donations are tax deductible.

“The Sonoma community can take pride in providing this positive, safe, and special celebration to its 2013 graduates.,” Braun said. “Please encourage your friends and family to help, too.”
