The Sonoma Valley Jazz Society kicks off its free outdoor concert series (shows every second Tuesday, through September) with the “irresistible swing machine,” the Montclair Women Big Band, a 17-piece ensemble that delivers a brassy, bluesy wallop. Round up your picnic supplies at the Farmer’s Market and settle in (save room for dancing) for the 6 p.m. show on Tuesday, June 11, in the Plaza’s Grinstead Amphitheatre.
