New at KSVY

Posted on June 7, 2013 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Stevie Steele is the new host of the Morning Show on Sonoma’s local radio station, KSVY 91.3 FM, now airing in the 7 to 9 a.m. slot. The weekday show will continue to be mix of interviews (booked by Ken Brown), music and special features. “It’s not a big shake-up,” Steele said, “just a slow evolution.”

Meanwhile, the property where the studio is located, 158 West Napa St. is now owned by Westamerica Bank and should be publicly listed for sale soon. KSVY FM and TV, owned and operated by Bill Hammett’s Common Bond Foundation, look to stay at onsite under a new lease agreement. “We enjoy our vista onto Napa Street and we’d like to continue at this location for years to come,” said Program Director Stan Pappas.

The employee-owned Sonoma Valley Sun newspaper, also a rental tenant on the property, will move to another Sonoma location by the end of June.
