Two geniuses walk into a bar…

Posted on August 22, 2013 by Sonoma Valley Sun

It’s not quite just another night at the local Parisian bar, not when Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein meet for drinks and dialogue. In the comedic play “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” written by Steve Martin, the year is 1904 and the young geniuses, on the verge of greatness, are drunk with the promise of a new world.

The show, witty, clever and with one very unexpected twist, is directed by Gerrett Snedaker. Read our feature story.

The play closes this weekend with shows Thursdays through Saturdays (Aug.22-24) at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St. For tickets, contact the box office at 938.4626 x1 or Svbo.org.
