FISH seeks new friends

Friends in Sonoma Helping (FISH), the nonprofit agency that addresses hunger, poverty and homelessness, is looking for volunteers.

FISH is in need of telephone dispatchers to work from their home one day per month, food packers and distributors who work from the Food Room located at 18330 Sonoma Highway, drivers for medical appointments and Ride Finders and/or substitute Ride Finders who serve one week a month to match ride requests with drivers.

Additionally, FISH would like to establish a small group of men or women to provide building maintenance work, including small repairs, sanding and painting eaves, establishing a replacement schedule for refrigerators and freezers, and enhance signage.
