Mentoring Alliance welcomes new board members

The Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance has added Bob Kenney, David Parr and Elizabeth Nuss to its board of directors.

Kenney, a Sonoma resident for several years, and operates a marketing and public relations firm, Context Marketing, based in Sonoma. He has helped companies and organizations persuasively tell their stories for more than 30 years. He held management positions with several of the country’s leading PR firms, including Edelman and Ketchum, then later through his own firm, which was based in Sausalito for more than a decade.

Parr is a resident of Sonoma and is a strategic consultant working with companies and non-profits throughout Northern California, focusing on a wide variety of management issues and growth opportunities. He is the co-founder of an educational foundation promoting global interdependence and conflict resolution, along with being a past member of the Board of Directors of the Valley of the Moon Teen Center in Sonoma.

Nuss was born and raised in Sonoma, and graduated from UC Santa Barbara and Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University in LA. She is currently employed at Gaw Van Male Law Firm in Napa as an associate in civil litigation. She a committee member at the Sonoma Valley Boys and Girls Club, Vice-President and Treasurer of Napa County Women Lawyers, and has been a mentor in the Stand By Me Mentoring Program since 2012.

Kenney, Parr and Nuss join fellow board members John Gibbons, Cherie Hughes, Louann Carlomagno, Danny Fay, Patsy Wynne, Paul Mead, Brittany Anderson, Karen Rathman, Mike Sangiacomo, Kelly Stober and Mark Zuehlsdorff.
