Car raffle winner

Gabrielle Brown is the owner of a new 2013 Fiat, compliments of Laura Zimmerman and the Sonoma Education Foundation. The car was the grand prize in the Red & White Ball raffle. A Sonoma resident for 25 years, Brown is the owner of Sonoma Serenity Home on Carriger Road, a residential care facility for the elderly.
Brown bought two raffle tickets, both at Sonoma Market, and then forgot all about it. She was working the night of the Red & White Ball and received the call from that she was the winner. “I never expected to win, and this just means so much to me,” she said. “It is so very special.” The 2013 event raised nearly $100,000 for Sonoma schools.
