Spectrum of flavors

Maris Buesser, a resident of Sweetwater Spectrum, joins volunteer Debbie Stevenson and farm manager Rachel Kohn Obut at Sweetwater’s Saturday Farm Stand. “The Sweetwater farm is an enrichment activity for our residents with autism and we are delighted to share the bounty of beautiful produce with our neighbors,” said Executive Director Dierdre Sheerin.

The fresh produce is grown one site, with the help of residents of the campus at 369 Fifth St. W, and used in meals there as well. The surplus is sold to the public each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
