Are you aware of this law that goes into effect on January 1, 2104?
Chapter 85, Statutes of 2013
SECTION 1.
221.5 Sub. title (f) of the Education Code is amended to read:
“A pupil shall be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.”

What this means is that a boy can go and defecate and urinate in a girls restroom if he thinks that he is a girl. And a girl, if she thinks that she is a boy, can use the boys restroom. This applies only for public schools. Elementary 1 through 8 and secondary 9 through12.

There is a referendum against this act passed by the legislature. You may get information on this referendum and petitions to sign and return at www.privacyforallstudents.com. The petitions must be in by November the 6th. So we do not have much time thanks to the state legislature.
