Impact100’s ‘solutions oriented’ workshop

Posted on November 4, 2013 by Sonoma Valley Sun

“Developing Solutions and Programs to Meet the Needs of Our Valley” is the title of a symposium presented November 13 by the nonprofit group Impact100 Sonoma. The free workshop will be held in the Community Room at St. Leo’s Church, 601 W. Aqua Caliente Rd., from 3 to 5 p.m.

Impact100 members, sponsors, friends, and interested community members are encouraged to attend as well and to add their voices to the vibrant and solutions-oriented discussions. The objective, said Judy Scotchmoor, an Impact100 boardmember, is to provide the opportunity for shared conversations and the development of relationships for strengthening the community.

Building on the highly successful and energetic October symposium in which attendees imagined a “more perfect Sonoma Valley,” the upcoming event looks to generate actions and solutions for planning and implementing change, she said.

The symposium will also include crucial application information for the 2014 Impact100 Sonoma grant cycle. To attend, RSVP to [email protected]. Information about Impact100 Sonoma may be found at Impact100sonoma.org or 939.5007.
