Senator Wolk in Sonoma

State Senator Lois Wolk, whose district includes the city of Sonoma and the Springs area of Sonoma Valley, will address the Sonoma Valley Democrats on Monday, November 25.

Wolk was elected to the Senate in 2008 after serving six years in the Assembly. As her top priorities, she lists government and budget reform, water management, the crisis in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, and providing California energy consumers with greater access to clean and renewable energy. She was named the 2013 Legislator of the Year by the California County Boards of Education, and helped change the law to allow homemade wine and beer charity events.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Seven Flags Club House, 300 International Boulevard, in the Seven Flags Mobile Home Park off Watmaugh Drive, in Sonoma. The meeting is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. Guest are asked to bring a potluck dish to share; drinks are provided by the club.
