Batter up: Little League registration

Last year, Sonoma Little League registered over 400 players, fielded 32 teams and brought home a District 53 championship all-star title. Now it’s time to gear up for 2014.
Online Registration is now open at Sonomalittleleague.com. In-person registration is scheduled for January 7,9,14 and 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening, at Round Table Pizza.
Player Camp is January 18 and 19. Try-outs, mandatory for all players eligible for the majors division, are January 25 and 26. Opening day is March 15.
What you will need for registration: $125 registration fee, $75 for siblings; birth certificate (new players); proof of residency; $100 volunteer check (refundable); and two copies of the 2014 medical release.
