Reported missing Sunday from the Sonoma Care and Rehabilitation facility, Henderson “Buddy” Ashworth, 55, was found safe in Napa Monday night.

Ashworth was last seen Sunday afternoon at about 2:30 p.m in his wheelchair on the sidewalk fronting the care facility at 1250 Broadway. He was drinking coffee and looked as though he may have been waiting for a ride. At about 4 p.m. staff located Ashworth’s wheelchair at the front doors of their lobby but could not locate Ashworth.

Ashworth has some mental disorders and physical disabilities, including a knee fracture that limits his mobility. Ashworth is from the Napa area but moved to Sonoma in September.

He was found by a Napa County mental health worker Monday evening, according to Sonoma police.
