“I always do my best to stay in shape,” says comic Myles Weber. “My secret: Photoshop.” The Vallejo native got an early start, winning his grade school talent show with a stand-up comedy routine. “I won the whole thing, mainly because I was the only fourth grader that wasn’t singing ‘Living La Vida Loca’ or ‘What A Girl Wants.’”
Runner-up in the Best of the Bay Area Comedy Competition in 2009, and winner of the Bay Area All-Star Comedy Competition in 2012, Weber retains some of that naïve dorkiness and goofy body language. With Kaseem Bentley and Chad Opitz on the bill, he plays Sonoma’s Back Alley Comedy series on Saturday, May 24, at Murphy’s Irish Pub. Shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
