After using a stolen credit card number to book a stay in a $12 million Glen Ellen vacation home, two suspected fraudsters were arrested Wednesday in Santa Rosa driving a stolen $240,000 sports car.

Mohannad Halaweh, 19, of Rohnert Park, was driving a 2012 McLaren when arrested without incident Wednesday in Santa Rosa. He was jailed for possession of stolen property and credit card fraud charges. His bail was set at $100,000.

His passenger, Nhimia Kahsay 19 years old, of Santa Rosa, was booked for outstanding fraud warrants out of Del Norte County, and faces additional charges related to this week’s scam. His bail was set at $60,000.

Detectives revealed the fraudulently obtained credit card number used to book the stolen sports car, a $13,000 charge, was also used to book a $27,000 stay at a Glen Ellen estate on June 2.
