Posted on June 20, 2014 by Sonoma Valley Sun

i-ghCgwKM-L“The Full Monty,” the musical in which a group of unemployed men pull themselves up by dropping trou, continues at Andrews Hall with shows Thursday through Sunday. The Experiential Theater Company production is directed by Cat Austin.

Austin said the production takes a major step towards bringing regional theatre to downtown Sonoma. The show features a cast and crew with national credentials: a Broadway star; a performer from the “Bye Bye Birdie” national tour; an award-winning Actors Equity performer reprising his “Full Monty role;” a musical director fresh from the Broadway production of “Motown the Musical” and “Wicked,” and more.

“It’s the first time I’ve produced a show in which four of the actors have played their roles before, and at such a high level,” she said.

“The Full Monty” plays Thursdays through Saturdays, June 19-28 at 8 p.m. and Sundays, June 22 an 29 at 2 p.m. $36. 276 E. Napa St. 938.4626. Svbo.org.
