Name change for Jack London Park operators

The name of the non-profit organization operating Jack London State Historic Park has been officially changed from Valley of the Moon Natural History Association to Jack London Park Partners.

In 2011, Valley of the Moon Natural History Association (VMNHA) became the first non-profit organization to enter into a successful agreement with the State of California to take over management of a State Park, specifically Jack London State Historic Park. VMNHA established a subsidiary, Jack London Park Partners to manage the daily operations of the Park under the auspices of VMNHA.

Now the Board of Valley of the Moon Natural History Association has officially approved the name change to Jack London Park Partners to facilitate greater clarity of communication with all stakeholders from the community, visitors, agencies, etc.
