Sonoma's 'so-called' walking paths

Editor: Yes, once again I thought I’d chance walking in your lovely town and once again I was threatened with losing my life!
A little aside if I may.  The other day I met a lovely woman.  After a bit she  told me of her son who is now twenty-two years of age and brain damaged so much that he is confined to a wheel chair and cannot speak.  The story goes like  this.
He and his girlfriend, four years ago were walking on such a walking path and he was hit by a man on a bicycle with such force that he never regained his capacity for doing anything but exist in that wheelchair for the rest of his days.
His Mother said he would have been better off dying!  So, despite my desire to remain alive and enjoy nature and even think for one moment that I could in your fair town, it isn’t possible!
Today, once again a man in a red and black suit and helmet came racing by me!  I mean racing!  Not one sound or one peep came from his lips!  IF I had taken one step to the right as I would like to do to look at something interesting I would have lost my life.  This I know!
So, I’m writing you, once again to beseech the town of Sonoma to start ticketing these people!  No sense in discussing the ignorant, inconsiderate, and thoroughly repugnant dogs and their people is there?  I’m sure that Carols story isn’t even considered to be news anyway.  Oh, yes, the man who ran down and injured that young seventeen year old was from another country.  Sort of like the drivers on the roads of California!
