Crossing paths

Editor: Re: “Danger on ‘so-called’ walking path'”: I believe they are called bicycle paths, Ms. Logan! If you despise people on bicycles and people with dogs being out in public, and most of whom are probably residents of Sonoma, I suggest you stay home in Petaluma.

I have walked the paths (mind you with my dog or dogs) for five years and have always encountered polite bicycle riders and friendly dog walkers. I will admit my German Shepherd puppy is not very polite right now and can be scary, but she is leash controlled, and I always apologize for her behavior, and my fellow dog walkers are always understanding and friendly when I explain I’m still training.

Lucky for me that I rarely cross paths with that grouchy-old-lady type who turns up her nose … oh, maybe that was you!
