Imagining a better high school

Posted on March 13, 2015 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Seeking public input on a master plan for Sonoma Valley High School, the School District will host a community meeting on campus Thursday, March 19, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The planning process began in October 2014. The timeline included and continues to include opportunities for public input, said Superintendent Louann Carlomagno.

“When finalized, that plan will guide a redesign of the high school facilities to better support the SVHS students and staff, and the range of academic programs offered,” she said. “A key component in the development of the plan is community input on the design.”

The meeting will be held in the school library and include presentations by the SVHS Facilities Master Planning Team and the project architects. Following the presentation, community members will be invited to offer comments and ask questions about the draft master plan.
