Dog fan calls Malarkey

For Pete’s sake, there are tons of Coyotes on the trails in the Hollywood hills where I used to hike with my dogs, where dozens of people hike with their dogs off leash every day from sun up to sundown. This is such malarkey!

I have been hiking for 25 years on a friend’s private property, and I can tell you all that there are far worse things that will disturb wildlife. Solar panels, for instance. Someone put almost a half acre of panels in a field off Norrbom where deer, wild turkey, and a bobcat used to meander and graze. Since those panels went up, all the wildlife has disappeared.
