Season opener

In a local tradition so exalted it’s nearing holiday status, the Valley of the Moon Certified Farmers’ Market opens the 2015 season on Tuesday, May 5.
City Council-members will cut the ceremonial ribbon, followed at 5:30 p.m. by the equally ceremonious ringing of the cowbell, the signal to start shopping for fruit, veggies and prepared food; grab a picnic spot, catch up with old friends and enjoy music by the Carlos Herrera Band. Sonoma Plaza.
