Mail ballots now available

As of today, mail ballots for June 2 Special Election, to be held June 2 are now available from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office. Voters who wish to vote in this election by mail must submit a personally signed request for the ballot to the Registrar of Voters Office.

Requests can be made by mail or in person.

Registered voters should receive a Sonoma County Sample Ballot/Voter Information Pamphlet prior to the election. The application form on the back of the Sample Ballot can be used to request a vote by mail ballot. Requests may also be made by sending a personally signed letter to the Registrar of Voters, Vote by Mail Division, P.O. Box 11485 Santa Rosa, CA 95406.

If a letter contains the request of more than one voter, each voter must personally sign the request.

The last day to request a vote by mail ballot by mail is May 26, 2015. Voters may also return vote by mail ballots to any polling place in Sonoma County on Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on June 2, 2015.
