Slogan with Characters

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library is pleased to announce a June 10 start of the Summer Reading Program for students in grades K-6.

The Wednesday programs are free and open to all. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. Sign-ups beginning on Tuesday, June 9.

When children sign up to join the Summer Reading Program, they track their reading progress and earn prizes each week to acknowledge their great reading work. Younger children can participate by having friends and family read to them.

Clare O’Brien, Youth Librarian says, “Summer Reading is totally fun at the library! Prevent Summer Reading Loss by keeping books in the kids’ hands and hearts with reading incentives and programs at the library. The performances reinforce learning and literature in addition to providing high-quality live entertainment!”
