The suspect in a double-homicide near Sebastopol was apprehended Monday at about 4:30 p.m. Authorities had been on the lookout for Nathan Alexander Wilson, 34, since he fled his home at 1220 Sexton Road, where the bodies of his parents were found dead at about 9:30 a.m.

A citizen called into the Mendocino Sheriff’s Office with a report of suspect’s Wilson’s truck parked along Tomki Road in the Redwood Valley area of Mendocino County. Mendocino County Deputies found the truck abandoned and began to search for the suspect on foot.

Ukiah Police Department then contacted a man matching the description of Wilson walking down the street near the MendoMill. Upon contact, the man lied about his name, but the Ukiah PD Officers identified him by the California Driver’s License in his pocket.

Wilson was taken into custody without incident. He is being held in the Mendocino County Jail and awaits extradition to Sonoma County to face charges in the murder of his parents, David Wilson and Adrianne Chapin. The pair suffered multiple wounds from a sharp object. A possible weapon was found within the house.

At about 9:30 p.m., man called the Sheriff’s dispatch center stating that he thought his nephew had just killed his brother and sister-in-law at a residence on Sexton Road. The man had seen the couple on the floor inside the house covered with blood, as well as his nephew, Wilson, was covered in blood.
