Starting this Thursday, downtown Sonoma residents and visitors will have a new place to pick up pastries and coffee: Harvest Moon Cafe.

Harvest Moon’s breads and desserts are equally coveted as their hearty, farm-to-table cuisine. It is one of the few Sonoma Valley restaurants to have an in-house Pastry Chef – who happens to be co-owner – Jen Demarest (her chocolate pot de crème is the best in Sonoma County, if not Northern California).

We’ll now be able to enjoy Demarest’s talents, which have been featured in Food & Wine and lauded by Williams-Sonoma, starting this Thursday (1/14), for breakfast.

Harvest Moon will be serving up an array of fresh pastries and breakfast items, alongside coffee, tea and specialty drinks.

Demarest will be offering sweet and savory items, including gluten free selections, granolas, and their famed sourdough bread and baguettes that are served at dinner service.

Additional morning items may include savory turnovers, foccacia, croissants, donuts, bagels, scones, coffeecake, cinnamon buns, breakfast buns, and more!

They’ll be serving up these tasty morsels from 7:30AM-11AM, Thursday-Sunday. 487 First St. W., Sonoma | 933-8160 | harvestmooncafesonoma.com

  1. I’ve been Gluten free for years. One of my very best friends lives there and has taken me to your establishment and it was wonderful. Could you ship Gluten free items?? Thanks so much.
